THE STORY SO FAR

Dezi was the first born of Layla and Norby's long awaited litter. I was lucky enough to be there when he was born. He arrived at 7am, weighed 338gm and is a lovely cream and white with the blackest pigment on his nose and paw pads. Dezi's Sire, Norby, was leased by Jill Terry from Isabella Zirri in Italy. Norby spent a year in the UK during which time he won BOB at Crufts 2001 and BOS at Crufts 2002 and sired two litters.
Dezi has had a fantastic show career so far. His first Champ show saw him win Best Puppy in Breed and get a excellent critique from the Judge. He has continued his winning ways with many Best Puppies, Best of Breeds and Groups to his credit. His highest achievements so far being Best Puppy & Best Of Breed at Crufts 2003, Best Of Breed at Crufts 2005, 2006 & 2008. Joint Top Canaan Dog 2007. And the first Canaan Dog to win a Pet Plan Junior Stakes heat.
Excellent type, superb conformation and movement, correct dark eye and pigmentation, tight neat feet, superb head shape and muzzle length, level topline and short loin, a high set tail and excellent temperament combine to make Dezi an outstanding example of his breed and I am very lucky to have him. His good looks have gained him many admirers who follow his progress in the show ring.
